LESSON PROGRAM
Riders of all ages may enjoy learning in our programs, continuously advancing in their horsemanship journey.
The best riders in the world are always learning. Every horse has something new to teach, and every ride is an opportunity to improve. True horsemanship is not about mastering the horse, but about mastering yourself—your patience, your balance, your communication, and your ability to listen.

Riding Program
Riding Program
Our program is designed for riders ages 7 and up who are ready to learn the fundamentals of riding and horse care in a safe, supportive environment. Lessons focus on building confidence, independence, and responsibility while fostering a lifelong love for horses.
Lesson Overview:
Horse Prep & Groundwork (15–30 min): Students are encouraged to arrive early to safely groom, tack, and handle their horse. After a few introductory lessons, riders work toward doing this independently, with staff available to assist as needed. If riders are unable to arrive early or complete this step on their own, horses will be prepared for them so lessons can begin on time.
Riding Lesson (45–75 min): Riding time ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on if a private or a group. Instruction is tailored to each rider’s ability, focusing on balance, steering, transitions, and building confidence in the saddle. As skills progress, riders may also be introduced to canter work, poles, trail riding, or bareback exercises.
Cool Down & Care (15–30 min): Lessons finish with walking out, untacking, and grooming, giving riders the chance to practice daily horse care and develop responsibility for their equine partner.
Volunteer Hours!
Work-to-Ride Program
We believe in creating opportunities and building community! Our Work-to-Ride program allows riders to earn lesson credits by participating in barn service hours. For every 10 hours of approved barn work, you’ll receive one private riding lesson, you must be in a weekly lesson to apply to this!
Whether it’s feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, or helping with daily chores, your hard work can be exchanged for time in the saddle. It’s a great way to learn the ins and outs of horse care while working toward your riding goals.
